Wednesdays Insanity
The Yankees visited the Virginia Tech campus yesterday and paid tribute to the students who lost their lives during last years senseless rampage. They then proceed to beat the crap out of the college baseball team, in an exhibition game, winning 11-0.
Al Davis, crazy like a fox or nutty as a fruit cake?
Top 5 strange celebrations by Athletes.
Given Obama’s, tediously measured, speech yesterday morning I still think that if he is the nominee all it will take, to sink his ship, is a well organized Swift Boat like attack that culimnates with a commercial showing this video of his ex-Pastor and this little excerpt from his wife and BAM there goes a significant number of votes.
A woman who refuses to vote with her reproductive organs.
A candid Cobra Commander interview below. By the way, now that I see Cobra Commander as an adult, I think it’s possible that GI Joe gave me some preconcieved notions of about who is inherently good and who is bad. $10 says there’s a group of people out there that believe that our government was behind the proliferation of this cartoon and ideology.
At least we know that Obama is prepared to throw his grandmother under the bus to win the Presidency. Let’s see Hillary beat that!
Remember that scene in American Pyscho where Christian Bale freaked out over this friend’s business cards? Tough to beat this one:

A sound and historic case made for the Iraq war.

Can MLB be any more greedy? Here’s the rub. The Players Association and the MLB agreed to terms on extra compensation for mainly the coaches, locker room personnel and family travel, etc. for the RedSox trip to Japan. Then MLB did not follow through on their end of the bargain so at this point the RedSox have decided not to play their game today or board a plane to Japan.
Poor? Drop a little coin on a metal dectector.
T-Mac waxing poetic on the Rockets win streak. Too bad Boston put an end to that. I give it a day before Bill Simmons sounds off.
Bored at work, school, in class….watch a free movie, TV show, music videos, et al.
Ever see photos of a whole house or separate rooms that are totally trashed, filled with empty beer cans, bottles and just plain gross? One thing I never get out of those pictures is an image of the person or people that have created the mess and still choose to inhabit it. Finally, at last, a face to go with the filth.
Clever way to stop speeding or at least slow people down.
