90 Best Picture Movie Blunders. My favorite is the one from A Few Good Men.
I never thought I would see video game sales topping half a billion in one week for one game. It’s not my fault I grew up on Atari and Sega Genesis.

It’s still early in the primary election cycle however McCain has some serious issues to overcome. Most notably results like this in North Carolina. It’s hard to win the nomination when over 25% of your own party won’t vote for you.
However that’s small potatoes compared to the results from Louisiana’s 6th Congressional District Special Election. Here’s the problem, not just for McCain but for the entire GOP: President Bush carried this district by 19% in 04′ and the GOP has held this seat since 1975! Republicans need to sing a new tune and FAST.
Speaking of Louisiana, Seantor Mary Landrieu is asking Congress for $250 BILLION to rebuild New Orleans. Washington has been playing fast and loose with the word “billion” for the past decade or so. Let’s put this into perspective. What exactly is a billion? Well a billion seconds ago it was 1959, a billion minutes ago Jessus was alive, a billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the stone age, a billion days ago no-one waled on the earth on two feet. Let’s break this down in more contemporary terms. If you are one of the 484,674 residents of New Orleans you each get $516,528 or if you have one of hte 188,251 homes in New Orleans you get $1,329,787 or lastly if you’re a family of four your family gets $2,066,012. Where does our government or a representative of it find the gaul to ask for such an exhorbitant amount of money? Oh yeah from taxes. So none of these taxes, listed below, existed 100 years ago. I know things change and some stuff needs to be taxed to supply the resources for it be monitored appropriately however it still seems excessive especially in light of the Senator from Louisiana’s request: Accounts Receivable Tax, Building Permit Tax, CDL License Tax, Cigarette Tax, Corporate Income Tax, Dog License Tax, Federal Income Tax, Federal Unemployment Tax, Fishing License tax, Fuel Permit Tax, Gasoline Tax, Hunting License Tax, Inheritance Tax, Inventory Tax, Liquor Tax, Luxury Tax, Marriage License Tax, Medicare Tax, Property Tax, Real Estate Tax, Service Charge Tax, Road Usage Tax (freight), Sales Taxes, Recreational Vehicle Tax, School Tax, State Income Tax, State Unemployment Tax, Telephone Federal Excise Tax, Telephone Federal Universal Service Fee Tax, Telephone Federal, State and Local Surchage Tax, Telephone Minimum Usage Surcharge Tax. Telephone Recurring and Non-recurring Charges Tax, Utility Tax, Vehicle License Registration Tax, Vehicle Sales Tax, Watercraft Registration Tax, Well Permit Tax, Workers Compensation Tax just to name a few.
