Ex-Prison Inmate, Porn Star, and Actor to Run for US Senate in Kentucky

Sonny Landham is challenging Republican Minority Leader Mitch McConnell for US Senate seat in Kentucky.  Landham is running as the Libertarian candidate against both the incumbent McConnell and the Democratic candidate millionaire businessman Bruce Lunsford. 

Landham doesn’t really offer much experience outside of kicking ass (actually getting killed) on “Predator” and “48 Hours” and I’m not sure that qualifies him for the job.  He’s long on emotions and rhetoric, which is nice, but short on actual experience.

Landham does have history on his side though.  He would be the 3rd actor from the Predator movie series to grace a statewide office.  Previous and current Governors include Jessie “the body” Ventura and Arnold “CaleeFornia” Schwarznegger.

You think Sonny could get him walking precincts?

Sonny also has a few skeletons, to put it lightly, in his closet.  In the 1970s Landham was in porn and he also served more than 2 1/2 years in a federal prison before the conviction was thrown out by a federal appeals court that found he committed no crime.
