Real World Killed the Video Star

If you’re anything like me you’ve long given up on MTV.  Sure shows like Rob and Big are hilarious and programs like Yo MTV Raps and MTV Rock gave us hope but the sad truth is music videos now exist only a few hours (typically 2-4hrs) a day and in the early mornings between reruns of Made and Road Rules.

MTV has definitely morphed over the years into the reality TV juggernaut it is today.  Wikipedia has compiled a list of programs broadcast by MTV.  All I can say is wow.  A tear for the video.
