Great Kimbo Slice article. The piece discusses his humble beginnings and meteoric rise through the fighting world. Interesting to find out he’s such a “nice guy.” In fact in a 2003 fight Kimbo kicks, a neighborhood “Deebo” type, bully’s ass; Here’s the clip.
Kimbo’s only loss is to Boston area cop Sean Gannon. 10 minute fight clip below.

Barack Hussein Obama wins the donkey nomination. Clinton angles for VP position. She doesn’t get it for two reasons:One she would obviously try to kill Obama; two he lacks experience in foreign policy and this is an area where he needs a senior, well respected, policy man which Hillary is not. They appear to be close buddies though.
US News tackles the question is $1 million enough to retire on? Ha, retirement. No freaking way.

Ecogeeks get the ladies? Please, this is about the only wood those type of women are getting.

Although there are, of course, going to be exceptions. I am sure there’s a few tree huggers out there that wouldn’t mind meeting the stud who drives one of these.
Who would you bet on for VP selections?
Time Warner wants to meter your internet usage ala AOL in 1996. Huh? They don’t actually think their customers will be ok with this do they?

Alou recants earlier statement and says Bartman is too blame for dropped ball in NLCS game. I think it’s time to point out that the blame for this dropped ball is coming from a guy who willingly pee’s on his own hands. Can he really be trusted? Whens the last time you willingly pee’d on your hands?

California State Supreme Court rejects the rule of the people and says the same sex couples should be permited to marry. (Do yourself a favor click on the link and check out the picture). I take the same position on this issue as Chris Rock. If they want to be miserable like everyone else let em.
Arlen Spector is not happy with the results from the leagues investigation of Spygate. Hmmm, why? As someone who basically loathes the Patriots even I find this a little much. If politics has taught me anything it’s that you can and should always follow the money. Thank you Duke Cunningham (ex congressman) and Brent Wilkes (one time San Diego Man of the Year). Let’s take a look at who’s donating money to Senator Spector. Oh, wow, what do you know? Comcast is in there. #2 in fact. Comcast wants to get a piece of the lucrative NFL TV contracts mainly held now by the NFL Network. Ah, conflict of interest?
The O’Reilly video circulating the internets got me thinking about other on air melt downs. Here are a few for your viewing pleasure.
California is building a bullet train!? Finally! Took long enough.
Obama’s campaign is much sharper then I thought. Stroke of genius to announce Edwards endorsement the day after getting crushed in W. Virginia. They definitely understand media manipulation. What are people talking about? Not Mountain Mama’s landslide victory.
Point taken.

Finally some competition for the iphone, the new Diamond. It’s sleeker, lighter with a better display but it’s windows based. Not particularly something you want in a mobile device where ease of use is key.
Simmons gets it right! When he’s not sucking at the teat of Boston area sports Simmons is hilarious. For once we’re in agreement: Doc Rivers is a terrible coach. So far in Boston he has been handed one of the best starting line ups ever and he’s installed no offense, he’s continued to chip away at Rando’s fragile psyche and he forgets to play his stars. It’s MADNESS!

Get ready for a lot more of this. Democrats proposing more taxes on the wealthy. Clearly there’s no real understanding of basic economic principles in Washington.

Not water, anything but water.
420 Myths, legends, et al Yeah I know it’s late. I’m simply practicing cultural relativism.
Griffey 3 bombs away from 600 and the sports world is eerily quiet. Seems odd for a guy whose career has spanned the entire steroid era but has never been implicated once.
I’m losing my interest in the race. Is Hillarys win too little too late? Can the Dems just nominate somebody already? This campaign has been going on for over a year now, in Hillary’s case her whole life, with no end in sight and media fatigue is starting to set in.
So the whole Alien thing from the other day was apparently road flares, tied to balloons.
Good question

Zito’s utter failure is embarassing. At this point in the season he is 0-5 with a 5.61 ERA (not bad, I’ve seen worse), however, not being able to get to the 4th inning is beyond terrible. With 12 walks to 10 strikeouts in 5 games he’s looking like middle relief at best. If we were to add in his wins & losses from last year he is 11-18 since joining the Giants. The truth of the matter is if he wasn’t Zito he would be sent down to the minors. All this for $126 million.
I love to see this go to court.
Huh? What? How? Constitutional Rights? 4th Amendment…? So the Supreme Court has decided that police have the power to conduct searches and seize evidence, even when done during an arrest that turns out to have violated state law. So we have to obey the law and are subject to it but the police and government are not. This doesn’t sound like America.
No, no you’re not.

I am at a loss for words. One of a kind personal date page. I am stuck somewhere between this takes a lot of balls and a serious sense of humor or man this guy is all sorts of sad, pathetic, etc.
